Signatures Gathered
County clerks are given a 21-day period following the receipt of an initiative packet to determine if each signature is a registered voter, as per UCA 20A-7-206(3) 2002. Subsequently, the lieutenant governor's office a tally of verified signatures from county clerks, offering valuable, but not entirely precise, insights into the number of verified signatures within each district.
"The Beehive in the center of the shield and word ‘industry’ stands for hard work and diligence as well as the sweetness of selfless service and the joy that is achieved from such service.”
As we are gathering signatures, we are serving our community. Many volunteers are providing selfless service to restore our state flag and we felt it was appropriate to display our progress with jars of honey. Each Senate District’s goal is to fill up their jar!
